An in-depth catalogue of English Classes

A fully editable & user friendly system helping tens of thousands find the classes they need.

Learning English in Yorkshire and the Humber’s project required a design and build to continue the great work begun by the charity, helping migrants find the best lesson and support to learn the English language in the region.

The solution needed to be both flexible enough to advertise events, news and general content but most importantly, be user friendly so that the essential classes could be easily found. The result delivered a Gutenberg based CMS for easy page building along with the tools for the users to quickly find the right class for them along and for providers to fully control their own class information.

Working with the user

Achieving the best experience

To ensure the solution was the best it could be for the users, workshops were held. The sessions allowed us to engage with the user, covering everything from the design to full user experience.

The website also allows lesson providers and other groups to directly control their own listing and classes. Secondary sessions were undertaken with these groups to ensure all the functionality required was made available to them.

Fully searchable classes

Finding the perfect class easily & quickly

The system has advanced search location functionality including postcode and location look up which can be easily run through the clear search areas of the site, and makes use of advanced Google Map integration.

Classes are returned to the user in a clear list with a Google map option available so that the user can clearly see the exact location.

Each class also has it’s own informational page, displaying key information and allowing the user to even plan their route.

Feel Created have developed our region wide website, learningenglish.org.uk. From the very start of the process they have provided an excellent service, clear communication and planning, good value for money and excellent support. The team are approachable and able to explain concepts and ideas with clarity to those not so familiar with computer terminology. The ongoing support we receive with the site is efficient and prompt. We are very pleased with the site and highly recommend Feel Created as a company.

Looking to the future

Continuing the good work

We've continued to work with the Learning English team, since the initial build, including new features and general hosting, support and maintenance. We’re also delighted to say that, following all the good work achieved over the last few years, the project has now been extended with new additions planned for the site to help further support the people in the region who benefit so greatly from the work the Learning English team do.
